I have a Pioneer Premier DEH P8500MP MP3 player that I bought in the states.  I moved to Germany since i am in the military, and the radio bands are different here. i can get stations, but they won't tune in to the exact freq.  how do i change the preset freq from 200 kHz spacing to 25 kHz?  anyone have any tricks?  My friend has a kenwood, and he found a way to do it on his.  ex- i try to get 100.2, but the closest i can tune to is 100.1 or 100.3.

Thanks in advance.

A LOT OF RADIOS HAVE ( or Had ) A 9k - 10k STEP SWITCH ON THEM....this allows you to set the tuner for NA or Euro at the flip of a switch.... not many units have that feature anymore....

easiest way to tell if your's has it ( i dont think it does ) is to flip the radio over and look for a small selector switch on the bottom board with a small hole on the bottom chassis for switching it....

Hmmm, nope.

my friend found out how to do it for his by talking to a kenwood rep, and the guy told him the "not so well known"  keypad sequence to change it, and it worked.  maybe pioneer doen't do the same thing.
