I have a spot up in providence.,ri.And trying to do things .Need a little help.Wanting to fix a pioneer gm-x334 amp .The problem is that when I go to turn it on my power supply goes to protect mode and none of the lights on the amp even turn on.What can be the problem and how can I fix it?I also have a kenwood kdc-122 cd radio. The problem with this one is when you hook up the rca there is no music  that comes out of it just static noise when you move it.I hate to lose this because they are both are in good shape.I have a soldier and will atttempt to fix just lookin on which way to do it and if they are fixable.thanx

Have you checked the ground(s)? That is the most common reason that amps go into protect mode.
