I have a 2 channel, 1200 watt punch amplifier and i'm trying to hook up 3 kicker 15'" subwoofers. Anyone know how I would connect the subwoofers? I know there are a number of possibilities but I just wanted tome imput on the easiest way.

What kind of Kicker subs....Dual Voice Coil? And if so what are the impedance of the subs..

kicker comp. Not sure about impedance...but they can hold up to 1000 watts  each if that helps any. I have 2 connected but i wanted to add a 3rd one.

You need to post the exact model# of the subs (the number and impedence of the voice coils) and the exact model# of the amp please.

can you post the ohm rating on the amp as well this will help

You can get the # of voice coils and resistance IE Ohm  from the paper work with your sub or by looking at the back of the subwoofer. Another way to tell if it is single or dual voice coil is the terminals on the back of the sub. If you see 1 terminal ( + and - or Red and Black) you have a single Voice coil. If you see two terminals then you have a dual voice coil ( 2 + and - or 2 Red and Black Terminals). For the amp you can look into your paperwork that came with your amp and see if it says " # Ohm stable in mono or 1 channel operation". If you dropped big bucks into your amp it might be 1 Ohm stable in 1 channel. But in most cases its only 4 Ohms in 1 channel or 2Ohms in stereo or 2 channel mode.. (4ohms left channel and 4ohms right channel combined)
