I have an MB Quart 12" in the mail, I bought it in the box for 99 bucs.  I needed a smaller system for my car.  It is Dual Voice coil and I have Sony P5 12s with the 1600W(900X1) mono amp running them.  It pounds, but it dosent pound crisp enough for me now.  So I figured I would try it out and I will be running it with a 400W X1 at 2 ohm, with a cheap profile Amp.  I went cheap I know but I dont have a lot of money and I was sure it would beat loud enought for my car.  What do you guys think??

Yes. Even if that amp only really puts out 200w, the sub will get fairly loud. Who the hell knows whether you'll think so. Try it.

In the past few years mb quart  has put out good subs and they do not need lots of power it will loud enough for you i think. will sound better in a ported box, set your amp for 80 htz for this sub and it will soung good.
