98 Civic Battery

Got a question.......98 Civic, that i need a new battery for, cause the factory is just not cutting it anymore.....i know about the red tops and all, and the 16 volt battery for car audio.....but does anyone know anything else, that does NOT have to be modified to fit into that little slot in the civic's....and if so, anyone got any good sites or places to get some good deals on them???              Thanx

I have a 96 civic, and I believe we may have the same battery type. It's a pretty small space isn't it! I have about 900watts pull overall and my  Bosch Silver can take that quite happily. It fit first time with no mods. Optima do make a yellow top battery that will fit the civic which if memory serves is the 51D model.Good luckWhat's that flippie??
