How do I know the proper fuse needed to connect to the battery?

Here are the specs of this amp:

Power 12.5 VDC Input
2 Ohm Load60 w x 4 Low Level, Input Select
4 Ohm Load45 w x 4 Hi Level w/ Smart
Bridged 4 Ohm Load120 w x 2 Crossover(s)
Power 14.4 VDC Hi / Low @ 85Hz -
Rear Fixed, Defeatable
2 Ohm Load100 w x 4 Hi Pass @ 85Hz -
Front Fixed, Defeatable
4 Ohm Load55 w x 4 RCA Output
Bridged 4 Ohm Load200 w x 2 Full Range Only

The amp itself has two 25 amp ATC fuses. One for each channel. So I should use a 25 amp AGU fuse to connect to the battery?

Well if it has 2 25Amp fuses then it can draw 50Amps so put atleast a 60Amp fuse on the power wire.

You can put a fuse anywhere from 50 amps, up to the max for your power wire, 8 awg is about 60 amps max, 4 awg is about 150 amps max.
