Alright I aquired two AW1251T Audiobahn 12" subs, and a A8002T amp, wiring and Q-Logic box...all for a trade with a headunit I never really used in my bimmer.
Both of the subs are 400watts dual 4ohm voice coils and say best for 2ohm or 8ohm load.
The amp is rated
4ohm::200x2::stereo
2ohm::400x2::stereo
4ohm::800x1::mono of course.
Anyhow the question being I have never wired dual voice coil subs and before I search real quick just thought i'd make a post. How should I wire the subs. I know bridged gives you more bang for your buck, but i don't want to overload the amp. Parellel would mean less power to the subs, correct?
My current set up (diff subs and amp) is 500watt mono bazooka amp with two 12" subs bridged. So about 250 to each. You can do the same with dual voice coils correct? What would be the wattage to each sub? And what would be the final load on the amp? Maybe this is all real simple im just over analyzing, but thanks anyways.

run one sub to the left ch, and one sub to the right ch @ 2 ohms each ( take one sub and run both - to the - left  terminal on the amp , then take both + on one sub and run to the left + terminal on the amp) This is 2 ohms and then do the same for the other sub to the right ch. this si 2 ohm stero, this will do great

Would you happen to know where there might be a diagram of this on the web..? Or maybe even a how to?

http://www.sounddomain.com/shop/wooferwizard.pl?num_of_subs=1&impedance_of_subs=4ohm_dvc&x=143&y=15

The wiring wizard above shows wiring of the voice coils in parallel, making the DVC 4 ohm woofer a 2 ohm total.

Whether you connect each 2 ohm load to a channel, or connect the subs together (properly) and bridge them to the amp, the power is equal...and the load on the amp is just the same.  Below is how to do the wiring for bridging:

sub wiring difficulty -- posted image.

Notice the coils are wired different here.  This is series/parallel wiring...the coils are linked in series (coil impedance values are added together) ... and the subs are connected in parallel (halves the impedance).  The resultant 4 ohm load is bridged to the amp, equalling a 2 ohm stereo load.

If i have a 800watt 2ohm capable amp that will run 400x2 at 2ohm stereo load that above is what i would want to do? 2 ohm load being harder to push for the amp but supplies much more power and boom if you will..? correct?
Wiring:: I need to run?
How to tell how many channels you have...I believe mine is a 4 channel amp has two plus and minus terminals and has the bridged sign leading to one outer + and the other outer - terminal. I would want to use those for a 2 ohm load..?
Sorry, said thank you a little to soon.

The link you showed for the amp gives you that much information:  how many channels it is.  You should have the manual for that amp, or if you don't you should download it if you can get the http://www.audiobahninc.com/frame2004.html web site to give it up.  But anyway, it's a basic two channel amp that can be bridged with a 4 ohm load.  Wiring diagram is shown on the amp and the diagram I pasted above shows how the two subs wired to 4 ohms.

Suggest you take some time and read up on the basics before you attempt an install.  Here's a good place to start.
