I am installing a Soundgate KNGM1V6 translator to connect a Sirius Kenwood tuner to the RDS radio.  My question is what is the best place to get the +12 volts?? I have read here that the Ign or battery wire at the back of the OEM radio is only 6 volts and not a good option. Thanks, JIM

Constant  +12 Volts:

RED

IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

This wire will be seen below the steering colomb. It is a heavy guage wire. This is a constant 12vdc so be sure to use a fuse. Also only use this wire if the unit you are hooking up is less then 15 amps. Going to the battery is more prefferd!
