CD-400 : $259 + (ebay or www.woofersetc.com)
CD-45z : $199 + (ebay or www.woofersetc.com)
CD-700ii: $1000 + (ebay or www.woofersetc.com)
CD-300: $299 + (ebay)
CD-500: $349 + (ebay)
MB-VI : $389 + (ebay or www.woofersetc.com)

Personal recommendation: If you got cash, CD-700ii. If you want to go cheap, go CD-400 or the 45z. On woofersetc.com, the CD-45z is a refurb tho.
"I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.

... if you care about warranty purchase from an authorized dealer.

Nakamichi does not offer the same sort of code-based theft protection as does Eclipse.

Only the most knowledgeable thief in the world would think of stealing a nakamichi.  All other thief's will stray away from there ass ugly looks.   So nak's dont' really need security.

Yeah those things are pug fugly!!! I think that stock radio in my dads 94 ford f-250 looks better then that. Im sure they sound great, but I think they need to get some people to do a major re-design!!

I prefer Nakamichi's clean and classy look any day compared to some of the stupid light shows I see on the best-buy receiver wall. GJ kid, you have jumping dolphins on your deck. ;-)
I don't know about anyone else, but I'd kinda hate it if it seemed like I was paying for some crappy rainbow colored animation rather than top quality sound.

Give me more deck selections that blend in unobtrusively into the car's dash......come on, manufacturers!  Open the door to a whole group of (money) potential audio upgrade customers who are currently shying away from the kiddie looks that are prevailing!

Agreed.  Give me more clean, professional looking decks and less stupid Las Vegas light shows in my dash.  The new Denon/McIntosh decks look great, by the way!
