cd deck wont stay on

i installed my cd deck now it wont stay on i have to mess with the wires please let me knwo something

i use a harness  caprice i think it is the car original wires is there anyway to check and how much is it to get the car wire redone or can i do it myself

I used to have a similar problem in my old Caprice.  I'd start the car with the door open, and if I had no music coming through the speakers, then I'd slam the door shut, and it'd usually come on.  Of course that was long before I knew much about car audio.  The problem most likely lies in the accessory wire.  Does your unit keep memory?  Try running another wire from the ignition harness and see if that works.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
