can someone tell me what to use, someone  told me to use ¾ partical board and someone else told me to use ¾ plywood. ps. i have two 8 inch infinitys kappas and 3 JL 10W6. thanks for all the help.

Use at least ¾" MDF or Marine grade plywood for the 10W6's. The 8" Kappas you will only need about ½" for an enclosure.

Also make sure to seal the box very good for a tight hard hitting enclosure with no leaks for great sound. I use liquid nails for sealing my boxes.

is partical board the same as mdf? and if not will partical board work?

No partical board is not the same, MDF is much thicker, and heavier. Partical board will work, however when you screw in the sides on it, it is much easier to split than MDF. MDF 3/4 runs about $20 for a 4x8 sheet as to partical board runs about $14.

It will work it is just a little bit cheaper than MDF. I guess it's up to your wallet on what it will allow you to purchase, but yes it still will work and sound good just remember to seal it very good.

and what is the best to use, because i only want to use the best. p.s. what do the car audio shops use. and are my 3 JL 10W6's going to put out alot of bass, because I really want alot of bass , so if I have it up all the way , I will not be able to sit in my car.

Around here all that is used is MDF 3/4. JL 10w6 should be pounding pretty hard as long as you have a good amp on it. I have 2 12w6 and it hurts other people's ears to sit inside my car.

Another little trick to seal off the interior of a sub enclosure is to paint of a hot mix of fiberglass resin. Completely air tight and easy to apply.
