I have a factory cd player from a 2001 olds alero. I am trying to install it into a 1997 Buick LaSabre. My problem is that the cumputer on this alero turns the radio on and not a switched ignition lead. So i need to know what the computer is sending, to what pin it is sending it to, to turn the radio on.

First each time the radio is turned on it go in the bcm of the car to check if the VIN is the Same as the one programed in it's own memory.
Then there is no availlable data unit at this time to reproduce this signal.
If you plan to install the radio in an other vehicule ( wich has the simsilar turn on system) It will be required to access the programming of the vehicule with a tech 2 tool.
Bad for you but there is no economical known solution at this time.
