I am looking for the best way to wire my 2 Kicker CVR12s which have dvc's of 4 ohms each, to a Quantum 700.1 which is not 1 ohm capable. I didnt wire the speakers inside the box, it was done by the shop that made the box. I am running it parallel right now and according to the calculator, that comes down to 1 ohm.

Any ideas?

Are you sure they are wired parallel inside of the box? Is the Quantum 700.1 a mono amp? I'm not familiar with this amp. Looking at the model number I assume it is mono.

Im am assuming they are just wired positive to positive and neg to neg from each coil to the speaker terminals coming outside the box. This is a mono amp. Im just looking for the best way to get all the power i can.

Sub Wiring -- posted image.

If a pair of DVC 4ohm subs is what you have, these are your wiring options.  If you want to run the amp at a 2 ohm load, you would have to replace the subs.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
