I was looking into buying some new soundstream equipt. for my car, and ive used some of the old school stuff and love it. Has anyone had any experience with the new stuff, mainly the Van Gogh series? I was thinking about gettin the Van Gogh 1600.2 for 2 Tarantula T4 (12") subs and im not sure which size 4 channel yet.. but of the same series. any help you guys could give would be great.

I have the van gogh 800.5 amp & have to say it sounds good. I have no complaints. It doesn't have that annoying turn on/off pop or thump. It lets you know if there is a open (not a good connection) in the rca connection. no ground noise whatsoever. Good crossover system. Tripple darlington circuitry, which is also found in the old phoenix gold amps. But as far as there subs, I have never heard any of them playing. You can find extremely good deals on soundtream amps on ebay. Hope this helped a little.
