Has anyone heard these subs, know how much they are, or where I could get them.  I would be putting them a regular cab ranger with the jl E1400 amp.  Will this amp be a good match for it.

i have never heard of a w1, i've heard of w0, w3, w6, and w7.  if it is like the w0, you are lookinf around 90 bucks , if it is like the w3, 130.

Are you using a authorized JL Audio dealer? There are NO, NONE, NOTTA Jl authorized JL dealers on the internet. Therefore, you will receive NO warranty from JL. If you are working with a JL dealer ask to hear them, or ask them for advice. Use JL's find-a-dealer function on the website.
The W1v2 is JL's new entry-level subwoofer, and on paper is superior to the w1 and w0 in every way. Have yet to play with one, although; I suspect it will be a high quality entry level woofer priced and built to perform well against anything else in its price range.

So far the only size W1 V2 that's been delivered is the 12". Great woofer for the money. $129.00 MSRP. The real plus however is that they are about 1" Shallower on average then the WOs that they replace. Great for a regular cab pickup. The new JL W1V2 10" truck box is not as deep as last year's 8" WO box. An E1400 would be the absolute largest amount of power I would use. Better choice might be 250/1. And definately buy from a JL dealer. JL will not service the woofer IN OR OUT of warranty if you don't.
