I just got a 2004 Isuzu Axiom last weekend I want to install my head unit.  The problem is that the Climate controls are built into the same chasis as the radio and they both share a Heads up display on the dash.  What are my option for upgrading my head unit?  Is there a stand alone unit for digital climate control available somewhere?  If anyone has run into this situation before I would appriciate it if you could give me some suggestions or point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Chris

You are probobly stuck with the factory radio until someone comes out with a kit. The only other options I can think of to do would be to mount the aftermarket radio in any pockets below the radio or in a center console or something. Maybe something like this? http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-XJLnkWDEJxu/customcar/showcar/constanzo_fairlane.html?page=2 except in a spot closer to the driver. You could use an IR repeater if the CD player you have has a remote so you could keep it hiddne while driving and just use a steering wheel mounted remote or something. Check out www.hzemall.com also because he has done alot of custom installs.
