is there a way to up your voltage in your car form 12 to 14 volts thanks

Your voltage comming from the alternator should be 14 volts stock, , if its not then you are either drawing too much power, or your alternators regulator is taking a dump.  In this case its a good idea to upgrade to a high output alternator.

Is the car running?  If so, your alternator does not have enough capacity to handle the loads.
