I have been hearing distortion from my tweeters when the bass hits from my sub. The local installer told me that the sub amp is drawing power away from my component amp and thus the distortion. He suggested I hook up a cap to the sub amp so when it hits it draws from the cap and my other amp can get juice from the battery. This solved the issue on ~99% of the songs I've listened to so far. There are still a few times when I notice a slight distortion, this time momentarily instead of constantly. Both amps are supplied via 4ga wires and well grounded. Any suggestions on how to erradicate this problem will be happily accepted =D If I need to cap the other amp I will, but I think there should be a better solution. Thanks in advace!

Thanks, somehow I knew that was coming (I searched and came up with a couple of your posts from before.) Does anyone know of a quality supplier for H-O alternators for GM (1999 Buick Regal) vehicles? I was looking at http://www.alternatorparts.com/ they have 140-250 amp dual rectifier semms good, but I don't want to trust my charging unit to some shadetree online distro, so if you have any good experiences let me know please! TIA
