im planning to compete soon with a brahma 12 in spl. I plan to build a box just for this. Should it be sealed or vented? i was thinking about a 4-4.5 (?) cubic foot box because thats about as big as i can get it and still fit in the car. And SQ does not matter because as i said this box will only be used for spl comp. I downloaded WinISD and checked out what it said and it gives everything in meters! grrr but is this a good program for designing a spl box? But alot of what it says im not so sure i understand what it says so please help.

I believe you will achieve higher spl with a ported box...as far as the program, not sure, you could convert everything to inches....

Use the cursor arrow to change meters to cubic feet.  When you place it over the m next to the value you want to change and click, it will go through different measurement units.  The program figures the equivalence for you....so no need for grrrrrr!
