I am trying to build a box for my 2000 F150 supercab truck. I am installing it under the bench seat in the back. I have measured the available space and have determined that my max volume is 0.78 cubic feet. The box will be ported.
So far, my sub of choice has been the Infinity Reference 1030W (10" sub). However, I was wondering if there are other subs that historically have performed great in this amount of volume? Price is an issue - I can't justify a $200.00 sub to my wifeThe Best Sub For Venter 0.78 Cu Ft Encl? -- posted image.
Can any of you recommend some 10" subs for me to run through WinISD? FYI - I'm not trying to build a competition system. I'm just looking for good, clean base at medium volume levels.
Thanks!
Mike

If the Infinity works, go with it.
If you are able to _approach_ $200, then check out the Image Dynamics IDQ. It seems to meet your requirements. Small box size. Clean bass at medium volume levels.
