Yesterday I went to car toys in seattle and ordered an MRD-M1000, the guy told me it was last years model on closeout, so I payed 319.00 for it. Was that a good deal? Its brand new in the box. I want to push either a W7 or a brahma with it. I'm going to run up to Adire audios store in lynwood sometime this week to see the brahma. After some research I discovered that the amp is the model from 2 years ago though? So I'm just wondering if I should return it (30 day return), or keep it to push a 12. You guys are good with this stuff and know more than me. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

Very good deal on a nice amp.  Around here that one is going for $400 and up.  500 watts into 4-ohms will be plenty for any subwoofer you want to use.
