I have a Soundstream VGA 1600.2. It has two sets of power inputs on it. Two 12v+, two ground, and two remote inputs. Do I need to actually connect to both of these inputs or are they simply wired together internally anyway. Please help.

Just jumper the remotes if you're using both channels.  I have to warn you we ran into two bad Soundstream amps in a row today.  On the first one, upon testing, we got a loud pop out of all the speakers and it shut down.  We double checked wiring, and found no problems.  The second amp had the "RCA open" light come on, and had horrible noise.

I don't know, but I think it was a 4 channel.
