wasn't really happy with the features of the 9851, so I returned it and bought one of the last 9833 in the city, as far as i know. Paid $325 canadian for it.

Now I have to figure out all the settings. WTF did I get myself into(lol).

I have the hu powering my infinities in the front, and an amp handling the subs in the back.

Any quick suggestions on getting most of the mids and keeping the highs in the front speakers.

Yah, I know, lazy ass question.  Well maybe i will just go outside and try and figure this out for myself.

If I am not back in an hour call the Alpine Police.

wish me luck, I think I am gonna need it.

Yes, i-personalize.  I never took the time to mess with this stuff, but today at work was slow, so I played with it.

Hold down the menu button until HP/LP pops up.  Hit the menu button a couple more times and it should say EQ or User.  Turn the volume knob up or down to add or cut, use the track buttons to change the center frequency, and the band button to change the band (40-90/100-200/etc.).

I did some final tweaking on my setup, and it made an extraordinary difference- you'll be amazed.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
