Well I want to add a Yellow Top for my system to run from, but i have a couple of questions. 1) Do i need to still have my 5 Farad cap hooked up in the middle (isnt a bettery a huge cap?) 2) Why would i need the cap if i need it? 3) How would i wire the battery up with everything? meaning now i have 0 guage wire from the from of my truck to the  rear. Would i connect that 0 guage wire to the battery then use the same 0 guage ground that i have in the rear? Then connect the amp or batter to the same terminal post on the yellow top? I know i have many questions but thanks in advanced.

Add the yellow top

Use 0 Guage all the way around and for the BIG3
Use the cap for target practice
Save up for an Alternator upgrade
Thats the abridged version

Then the only thing the yellow top will give you is a higher CCA in most cases and the ability to be able to drain the battery without harming it and it will rechage just fine, non-deep cycle batteries are harmed when you drain them completly

A HO Alternator is the way to go, for example my 2004 civic came with an 75amp stock and my brutus BX1500D draws about 160amps at max power I never let it get there, I ended up getting a 150 amp alt and a yellow top , plus I did the big3 to help out and I have experinced no electrical problems what ever
Good Luck
