I was installing the MB Quart PCE-216 6.5" components my friend had from his previous car and he decides he wants something better.  I haven't been keeping up with new product lines coming out and wanted to get some opinions on what I should get him.  I was thinking possibly some Focals or Image Dynamic's best set.  Any suggestions? Oh yeah - and money is no issue so shoot for the moon!

Also they will be on a JL 300/4 amp and I would like to get some great midbass out of them.

Money no issue?
I'd be wanting to try the Seas Lotus Reference set.
If he was actually serious about the money no issue thing I'd check out the Alpine F1 Status 3-way set. :-)

Yeah I think a dynaudio set would be good but not the three way b/c he wants to avoid any serious modification to his new 2005 VW Beetle.  I found the dynaudio system 240GT 6.5" componenet set on ebay for $519 but I'll keep looking around for a bit.  Anyone have any reviews on these?
