has anyone installed these in any cars... i can get a really good deal on them and was thinking about using them for side jobs... just wanted to know if they were any good or not

But don't clients, whether it's a "side job" or not, want to be able to pick what sub they want to listen to?  If you haven't used Audiobahn before, I don't think it would be a good idea to pick up a bunch of these "good deals" with the hope of finding clients who know absolutely nothing about sound to install these for.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

You can get 'em real cheap, because they ARE real cheap. But they are great if your side job is at a shooting range. I can nail the 12 at over 3/4 of a mile with my .308!!!
