I have a Kenwood amp and two bazooka subs.
The Kenwood runs 200x1/75x2 stable to 4ohms. The subs are 4ohms each. Which is the better configuration, one sub on each channel (each sub getting 75w of power at 4ohms) or both subs on one channel in a series config so that the amp is running 200w at 8ohms. My understanding of ohms is minimal, but I understand that wiring the subs in parallel off of one channel is bad because this would reduce it to 2ohms at the amp. What about running the amp at 8ohms with the series wiring. Thanks for your suggestions.

Running the subs in series would cause the amplifier to put out 100 watts. Doubling the Ohms halves the power. Halving the Ohms doubles the power.
That means that each sub would get ~50 watts. So if you have to use that amp, hook one sub up to each channel. That'll give you 75 watts to each.
