I have an old (7-10 years maybe) MTX 4300x amp that when I first got it, it sounded and work great.

Now when you get into moderate to high volume with it, it will loose the high frequencies.  I have tried it with different speakers, 2 or 4 channel, and different head units, it does the same.

Is there something I can do to fix this, or get it repaired somewhere?

Why not send it back to MTX for repairs. Get a price quote and see if it is worth it to you. 1-800-call-mtx
