Welll, after many many good years of very high DB listening, one of my Image Dymnamics IDQ6's have finally given up the ghost with an intermittant voicecoil issue. RIP......
Now.... I need to replace my midbasses..... Soooooo.
I do dearly love my horns. I mix live bands on a very regular basis, and I listen to a lot of compression drivers, all night long. It is nice to get into the car, and have the same sound in the car.... nice, smooth, good mids. However, I am thinking of heading back into cone based mids and tweets, just because I can. I can currently get PG, PPI, ADS, DEI. I am leaning heavily in the PG Titanium Elite 3way direction. Any opinions on these things? 9" woofer should hump along pretty good with a couple hun RMS on each channel, I'm thinking.

The PG Ti Elite components are wonderful.  The loudspeakers are manufactured by Morel and the PG crossover is nice and clean.  I installed a set a couple weeks ago and they left me drooling.  High end SQ.

Oh yes, the TI Elite 9-5-1 combo is a SWEET setup. Much better than the other options you listed.

Oddly enough... I seem to think the Wpg. shop did the Morel demo car last year if I can remember correctly.....
I can get the PG 9-5-1 for a really good deal.... the rep used to be my boss, and we've done some work on his car recently... so it's time to call in a favour. I heard them in the little PG Mazda thing last year, and liked them... however, that thing wasn't really set up for SQ, just for loud, but they still sounded quite good. I think that is the way I'm headed, but I wanted to make sure..... Mr. Yohn's thumbs up seals the deal, and so does Kevin's.
Gue
PS: I think we can get Morel..... we just spend a lot of time pushing the lines with good back-end.
