Of course the solution to most electrical system upgrades would be fixed by a HO alternator. However, I don't know where to find any, and from what it looks like these things cost a bunch. Could I use another stock alternator? For instance go to a junkyard and get another like mine and use both at the same time? How would I do this if it is possible? I would like to spend as little money as possible. I have 2 ma audio hk1998's and 4 10" mtx thunder8000's. (if that matters)
Thanks

It depends on the vehicle and whether or not there is a way to mount a second altenator and then whether or not there is a belt the correct size to link them. It is fesible and does get done but it the vehicle has to allow it to happen.

There is no cheap alternative. This is an area where you are just gonna have to bite the bullet and spend like 300 bucks on an altenator. Sorry dude, if its any consolation I just went threw the same delima
