2001-02 Ford ZX2 audio connections?

I am helping a friend install a deck in his ZX2. It's either an 01 or an 02...he wasn't sure. Anyway, we got the mounting kit and harness for it. After pulling it apart i noticed that the harnesses didn't match up. The power herness is fine, but the speaker connection is different. The one he has is almost square, instead of the normal flat connector. It has two rows of 6 or 7 pins each i think. Maybe not that many. I think it's because he has the "Premium" ford audio package w/ cd changer. I'm thinking that there might be a factory amp somewhere in there. Does anyone know what harness kit i need for this connection?? The people at Best Buy and Circuit city are stumped!

Have a look in the store's Metra book under Ford until you find the harness you need.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
