What are some good 6.5in coaxial or triaxial speakers for under $100?
Note that these will be for the front stage so they need to be descent. I removable tweeter would be nice, but not necessary.
OH, these will be mounted in custom panels, so the speakers can be any size up to 8in round or 6x9. SO if you have any other recommendations of a different size feel free to give them.
Thanks
Brien

Well, all I have to say is, you are gonna have a hard time finding a real decent set of speakers in that prcie range. Trust me, I have been there. With 4 kids, I am on a real tight budget but, I have found that spending a little more will make you much happier. I went through 3 sets of front speakers before I gave up and shelled out a few hundred dollars on a decent set and I am glad that I did.

Less $$$$$$ usually means but, try looking on E-Bay for some speakers. For the money that you are looking to spend look into Manufacturer's such as Infinity. Here are some links to some sellers on E-Bay that I have delt with.

But, in all honesty, you are better of going to your local install shop and listening to a few different types.

I am running a pair of MA audio 6.5" full range speakers. They have good sound quality for the money. The tweeter is directional so you can aim it any way you want to. I just bought a pair of them on ebay fr $40 with shipping. I dont know if that helps at all just thought i would put in my 2 cents

Any recommendations on 8in coaxials?
Or possibly a dedicated 8in sub/mid with a tweeter and crossover?

You can get these CDT 6.5" coaxials for $70 from a authorized internet reatalier.

If you can do $150 you can get CDT components.

I can pretty much gurantee that you wont find better speakers for less, and these are from an authorized retailer to boot.
