HI,

I am new to this forum so please excuse my ignorance. I have a 2000 Ford Windstar with a single cd/cass radio. I would like to replace it with the 6 disc version. I see on E-bay people are selling them, but there are a variety of model #'s for the same radio (connectors differ). I have already called a dealer twice, but is there a way I can find my correct model number I need online somewhere without always having to call the dealer? Some type of cross-reference chart?

Thanks

Stay away from the Ford stock 6 disc in dash changer. They are JUNK! There is a yellow sticker on the top of these units that says " non-robust unit, scrap if dropped" That means if they break , you don't fix them, you throw them away. Stick with the single play stock unit, or for much better sound, go aftermarket.

Will an aftermarket radio/disc changer fit perfectly like OEM? Do you have a good source online I can look at some?

Thanks

I don't know of any in dash 6 disc changer that I like. Go with an in dash CD or Cassette with changer contols with an outboard changer.
