i'm working on a 03 saturn l200. i'm trying to install a set of components in the front doors... the only problem is there are two sets of wires (one for the tweeters and one for the mid-woofer)... i'm trying to figure out if there is by any chance a factory crossover somewhere in the car or do both set (from one door) splice together somewhere..  the two set of wires go through the gromet in the door seperately and seem to go under the seats.. i'm just trying to gain some info before i go ripping out the seats and/or center console... any help would be appreciated..

gm has never used a cross over that i have seen, maybe on some 9 speaker bose thing, but most often they rely on the fact that tweeters just can't make low sounds, and they consider that a crossover,, it's stupid, but that's what they do, i'd take an ohm meter and check resistance of one - to the other -, it will probably be 0, do the same for the positive, they are probably just connected to each other somewere, and they usually wouldn't go under the seats unless they aren't factory, most cars have a large set of wires that run along side the doors, they probably go in here..
