how do you guys get these cars apart? the customer came in tonight at 6 and we closed at 7 and he wanted a deck installed i've never touched this car before in my life only seen maybe 5 where we live and this guy wanted a deck installed in an hour I ended up not doing it telling the guys out front that I didn't want to feel I was under qualified but just wasn't confident enough to go prying on his $45,000 vehicles dash and feel rushed doing it... I told him to make an appointment when we had more than an hour and we'd gladly do it... (Not in those exact words) Metra hasn't done one yet... ANYONE ELSE ATTEMPT ONE WITYH SUCCESS YET???

easy car depending on the year, dont let the price tag scare you.the flip up cover has clips behind it and pops off, then remove 4 8mm on the factory brackets, use them to iso mount the new radio then snap flip cover back on,fits like a glove.
dont let your friends install

so let me get this right... you just unclip the folding tray that covers the radio and that will pull straight out... I saw vents right about this that seemed to possibly unclip but I left it alone...The car was a 2002 maybe this will help with any other information you might be able to have? THANKS FOR THE INFO SO FAR THOUGH!!!!!!!!

ITS ALL DONE!!! What I did was pop out a bottom corner where the tray folded down then the top corner where that vent was I talked about and worked my way accross both top and bottom to the other side the vents were all part of teh tray and came out with it! then there were 4 gold screws holding the deck in... and the rest was a normal install... 70-1721 metra honda harness and no dash kit and no antenna adaptor. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP HONDASPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The S2000 makes the worst sound when pulling the radio bezel off.
