Im trying to build a box for 2 12" cvr's in the back of a silverado under the seat. My friend was able to do this so it isnt impossible. Has anyone here done one of these boxes? I have around 1 cuft per chamber air space under the seat. I just dont know how to make the floor of the box. Im going to be upfiring these into the seat. The floor has so many bumps and in the middle of the floor under the seat there is a huge hump 15.5 inches wide. I was thinking about laying tape and resin and fiberglass on the floor and then building the rest of the box with mdf. Is this an ok idea or is there an easier approach. I need all the help i can get. Thankyou

A buddy of mine did this to his SS Silverado.
There are 2 brackets that hold the rear seat up. A simple weld job can make you a custom raiser to lift the back seat up a few inches. Those few extra inches allowed him to fit a box with two 12' power hx2's

Also, to more directly answer your question.
Just build the box as two seperately sealed boxes connected on the top which is humped because of the transmission.
It might also help to have them being downfired.

that box is a pretty basic build. i usually downfire the subs and flush the amp in center. make 2 sepeate boxes, test fit them and measure for the center board. mark the enclosures where the center board will be. pull everything out and put it together. if you build sidewalls on the center board the same height as the amp then you can mount the amp (after capreting) then cut a masonite panel to go over the amp.cut a square or a design in the masonite amp cover, carpet it and bolt it down. you wont see any wires, real clean.
