how much space does magnet need?

im making a fiberglass enclosure and i just finished mounting my ring for the 4th time... how much space does the magnet need for it to bump without hitting my box....?

I believe the rule of thumb is at least 3/4 of an inch or 1 Inch, they had a thread about this last week you may want to hit up the old search engine

the magnet needs no space, maybe 1/8 of an inch, , but the vent from the voice coil needs a minimum of 3/4" according to Steven Kephart.
