Just recently purchased a typr RF woofer and a T 3000 rf amp.

I know that the Type Rf woofer requires 12 cft of air space, but I am just curious if any one has tried anything diffrent with these woofers?

Thanks Sordee

12 cubic feet seems a little excessive, are you sure it isn't 12 liters or something metric that needs to be converted.

It is indeed a Pure SPL woofer, What are you putting them in? Vehicle?    You can get away with less space but you not going to have the output that these subs can truly do.     Last I have seen these was in a blazer, walled off with about 25-30 cu ft for a pair of 15's.   These subs will not play music properly, I hope you dont intend to use them for that!

I don't know the specs on the sub, but wouldn't a vented enclosure be better for a SPL sub.
