alright, having a problem with my stereo.  put in an 800 watt audiobahn amp and one ten inch audiobahn sub.  was working fine when i first put it in now having problems with my mids cutting out.  my sub is still pounding but there are no words just bass.  its pretty annoying and its happening a lot.  i can't notice any pattern to it whether i turn up the volume or not it still shuts off.  any help would be appreciated. for your information i'm running my mids straight from my deck , no amp.

Check your speaker connections, also make sure if you have any "unused" line outs (RCA's) that you tape'em off

Check to make sure you have used the proper channels off the deck too (no bridging) decks don't like that!!

Good luck

Check all your fuses. Make sure they're secured tightly, especially any ANL fuses.
Check that all of your power connections are tight as well, especially the ground

Yep. Double check your ground wires, don't bridge the deck, and check all unused wires to make sure they're taped off.
