I had a pair of Memphis Audio 40 watt speakers in the front, being powered by a 4 channel (50 watt/channel) amp.   They were doing fine, but I had a pair of Infinity 60 watt speakers that I wasn't using, so I decided to put them in instead. Now, when I turn up the volume about half way, one of them shuts the entire system down and it won't come back on until I shut the engine off. All four speakers have good sound at the low volume. The system was working fine with the old speakers, even at higher levels of volume. Thanks for any help you can give.

Sounds like either a bad speaker or speaker wire, or the gain on the amp is too high causing it to go into protection, and the different speaker impedence is triggering it.
