No, you need weather-stripping.
Go to HomeDepot or Lowes. Its like 2.50 for 10ft.

They are not absolutly nessesically ads long as the sub is mounted flush, and screwed down tight, then it should not leak

Markland, you've been looking for this rubber ring since MARCH?  It's still the same answer, you make your own.  Weather stripping, speaker sealant, plumber's putty, gasket-in-a-tube, etc.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

i just dont want the half ass stuff. I have 3 subs and one doesnt have the ring, they have to be made, they are on all the V2 subs by JL. I emailed them like 20 times and no response. I just want it to match, but i guess i can cover it or something. I would just really like to have one more. Its just so hard to belive that there arent any around, because if you screw yours up there are no replacements?? thats just not fair....Speaker seal? -- posted image.

It doesn't look like anyone caught on to what exactly you were asking for.  I looked up that subwoofer on the JL site and read about the rubber flange gaskets that come with them.  NOW I know what you're talking about.  So I sent an email to JL tech support on your behalf.  Here it is:

I am a member of the12volt.com car audio forum.  Another member has asked the forum where he can get a replacement rubber flange gasket for one of his 12" W3v2 subwoofers.  Here is his most recent post:  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=56415&PN=1

The membership of this forum are supportive of JL products and appreciate the quality of the brand.  We also value responsive technical support from our favored companies.
Please let me know how we can help him get the replacement.  He has two other subs with the flanges installed and one is missing.
Truly yours,
_____________ (stevdart)

This was sent to the mid-Atlantic coast region.  If you can't get an answer this way, next step would be for you to use the old fashioned phone system.  (954) 443-1100 tech support.

You could always go to a JL Audio dealer in your area and see if they have one or can order it for you.  Much easier to deal with a real live human being!
