advice please,
Is the Pyramid PS52KX a good power supply? I have some amps and I plan on testing them before I install them, I live in japan so most of the stuff here is in Japanese, I found this p/s on e-bay but I know nothing about this item, so any advice is welcome.
Befor anyone asks, I'm trying to build a small audio work shop dealing with installs, SPL TESTING
if anyone knows, what equipment can I purchase for db level testing?

This is just an educated guess but that brand doesn't hold much respect as far as their car audio gear goes and I am assuming that is the same brand. The label looks the same.

I have used and still own a power supply similar to the one you are reffering to, they work great for the price.
As far as DB level testing I am guessing you dont want to spend the $700 for a Term Lab setup, so you could look into trying to find a used audio-control meter, they are a little inaccurate compared to the term lab   the will measure about 5-10db over where measurements are on the term lab but will get the job done.     As far as testing goes will you be metering in the car correct?   In a open space like a room it wont do you much good

Your correct, I'm new to SPL and I don't have $700.00 to spend on Term-Lab.. right now I don't need to be very acurate, but I would like a ball park figure. and Yes, I will be in my car only.
