Im currently working on getting an aftermarket radio into a 92 SL 500.  Ive found the passenger side to work fine.. but drivers side sub does not do anything but crackle during the initial turnon of the factory amp, but the amp clicks on and off (music is uninturrupted) Anyone know how to either bypass the amps entirely or to possibly jump the 2 together? Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.

hi,

wiring for the mids and tweets is at the tuner module at left side trunk

wiring for woofers is at amplifier at passenger side floor (where your toes would rest)

hi,

disconnect amplifier for woofers, find speaker wires and run to radio opening, (using just a headunit i assume?).  have mids and tweets on front outputs, woofers on rears.
