does any body have any experiance with the digital alpine amps. Any pro or cons, any hardcore facts.

  i have installed 2 of them i didnt think that power was to great for the money i think the older alpine amps are better if u want 880 watts rms at 4 ohms you can get that 4 $269 plus like 15 bucks shiping call jim at woodland eletronic  1-218-390-3334 he has 19 brands and the best prices i have ever seen

Yup, iv got experience with them, probably installed over a hundred of the mrd-m300 and mrd-m500's,a few 1000's, about 50 301's and 501's, and 1 605.  the 300,500,1000 series are the best they have made, indestructable, same for the 301,501, 1001.  I haven't had much experince at all with the new equip other than the one 605 my brother owns.

I have never seen one of these amps fail, i have run them down to 1.3 ohm without much heat, and their very efficient.

I agree with " Alpine Guy " , however I would recommend that your Alpine dealer does the initial set up because these amps can prove difficult for the do-it-your-selfer.

I just installed the new digital 605 in my Altima and I love it.  It's driving a Crystal CMP-10.

The only bad think on the new ones is the crappy set screw connectors that are on them. The 12v power plate point was stripped on mine out of the box.
