sound deadening

i have been surfin the web for some sound deading materials, mainly to put on my rear deck in my accord,  i came accross this, good price, jus curious of what u peeps thought about this particular product.

Now, I'm not precisely sure what the rear-deck of an accord looks like from an installers POV.. but there prolly are some metal or plastic body panels that form the support for the rear deck.. and when ur bass hits hard ur rear deck bounces about and makes an awful racket?  I'm not really sure about all that sound-deadning stuff here.. I've had *extremely* good luck with judicious placement of shop towels...

Hmm.  Yea I mean sound-deading material is great to coat ur trunk in or otherwise remove minor vibration from large swathes of ur car.  I have a case of Dynamat Extreme coating my trunk as welll... but it is my sense of things that sound-deading material.. brown-bread, Dynamat, or any of the dozen or so other competing products, all are intended to remove minor vibration from huge parts of the car...   not secure a rear deck.  Which is what he wants to do.  Like I say, I don't know what he's having a problem with precisely, but whenever I hear "rear deck" it seems to need to be 1) tied down or 2)something soft wedged between the car frame and the cardboard/particle board mesh thing that makes up rear-decks.

So yea if ur back deck is rattling and u spend mad $$$ on some kinda space-shuttle looking stuff ur looking in the wrong place.
