Hello, I purchased the sub amp KAC-9152D and have a few questions. It's a mono 1 channel amp, but it has 2 speaker outputs. So, I hooked up two 4 ohms subs, so what is the impedence I'm putting onto the amp, 2 or 4 ohms? If I use both sets up outputs, would it be the same as using one set and running them in parallel? I'm trying to get a 2 ohm load to get the most power to the subs as possible, but the 2 channel output confused me on a 1 channel amp!

i know what you are saying about the to channel out put just treat it like a two channel and run it briged and wire the subs in parallel then u will have a 2 ohm load

On mono amps the extra terminals are just there for flexibility in how you connect it all. So really both positives are the same thing, as are the negatives. There's only one channel, so it's pretty hard to mess up. If you are using both sets of terminals, then that is the same as wiring the subs in parallel off one set of terminals- so you are presenting a 2 ohm load on the amp either way. You're not doing anything wrong- don't get confused- there is only one channel.
