A friend of mine has a 1996 crown vic and I was wondering if anyone here knows the stereo wiring codes, or a site that does, and also the easiest ways to run the power wire thru the back seat to the trunk. Also where is the best spot to route the wire thru the firewall? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated Thanks

vehicle wiring on this site has it. the easiest way to get to the trunk would be to take out the bottom part of the back seat. then run up the middle behind the top part. there should be a grommet on the passenger side to go intop the engine. also when mounting ans amp in trunk DO NOT screw it on the shelf any where the gas tank is mount right up to it on both sides. I had a coustomer come in and wanted use to remount it after he tried to do it himself o yeah right through the tank.  either mount it to the box or right to the back side of seat using mdf or if the amp is big enough you might be able to mount it to the rear seat support.
