im looking to amp up my interior speakers in my 91 toyota mr2 because i installed a scion mp3 player in my car rather then the stock mr2 stereo. anyhow, if you guys are not familiar with the car, space is limited since the engine is right behind the driver (& pasenger). so, bottomline is that i want a 4 channel amp (looking for about [atleast] 400Watts) that will fit under the passenger seat. the tallest the amp can be is just a bit over two inches. if anybody knows of an amp smaller than that, i would appreciate you letting me know. thanks in advance

Well, going to a very recent post on this very subject, the Alto is less than an inch tall, but the power is only 75x4... There are 5 channel units in the works, and I think a 4X100 model, but none that I am aware of available as of right now...
Honestly, I don't think you'll find MUCH else with real power specs in THAT low a profile chassis.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I owned this very car and am familiar with every nook and cranny of this car (well mine was a 93). I also have a uncanny ability to recommend some great car audio gear. Consider the higher end Concept amplifiers and Audison, here are the links.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
