Hi!,
I was just wondering when choosing an amp for the 500W RMS Alpine type r Sub, is it better to go with a KX600.1 Kicker Amp (that is pushing ~700 Watts RMS @ 2OHMS) or a KX400.1 (that is pushing ~430 Watts RMS @2 OHMS)? Thanks

Is the type "R" a 2 or 4 ohm dual voice coil?

If its the dual 4 ohm model then go for the kx600 , that sub needs 500-800wrms to work good.
