Lost and Confused on System Setup

Alright, I been trying to understand all this stuff but I did replaced the factory speakers last summer with two Pioneer 6 1/2" TS-G164OR speakers (160 Watts) to the front but the driver's speaker blew a few months ago even so the distortion is not that bad but I am replacing it with a new system design. I'm driving a 1997 Chrysler Cirrus LX but I am going to replace the front speakers since it been over a year but.. I am just looking around to see what would fit best with my Pioneer DEH-P4600MP head unit. I have no idea what amp to get since I am a little lost on what the head unit will support up to or is there a limitation? I would like some input on what my option are and the money budget.. well I am looking for mid-price level that is decent and not too expensive. I am only a rookie at this so maybe when I understand everything later on.. I will be more into adding more power but for now.. I am looking for a decent system and maybe getting a better understanding. Looking for feedback. Thanks.

The head unit has output;  the amp has an input.  That's the only things needed for a marriage between a deck and an amplifier.  RCA cables will be the bond between the two.  Your deck will be the preamp and will output at a certain voltage.  Amplifiers have gain (or input level) controls that allow you to match the amp's input with the deck's output.  Search the subject "setting gain" to find out the best way to get this important task done.  Crutchfield has good info on this subject as well as some of the other websites such as JL Audio's site.Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
